Message This comparison is ONLY for street tires, as that is the majority of the use of 'what tire should I buy' posts;
I can get a set of Kuhmo 712s for roughly $425.oo
These tires will last 1 year on average.

I can get a set of BFGs or Whatever you recommend for roughly $850.oo
These tires will also last 1 year on average.

I suppose you can do the math... for 99.9% of those who require a good street tire, they will be 100% satisfied with the Kuhmo Ecsta 712.

You always seem to recommend the most expensive tire, when the run of the mill Kuhmos are highly acceptable.
FWIW, I used a track specific tire (designed for that purpose) when I road course. (again, Kuhmos... unless I can get some Falkens... those are tits too.)
